A3 Design Rides Ducati into Rochester

The legendary Italian Motorcycle maker, Ducati, has dominated the racing circuit for years with its highly prestigious position of their brand. As the US division dives into the consumer market aimed at the XYZ generation, they look to build off of their market's obsession for quality and pursuit of individuality with their latest Monster Second Skin Promotional.
 
In an attempt to infuse the communications with the consistent high-end quality the Ducati market expects and speak to the typically 25-40 year old professionals, they hired Rochester's A3 Design to help with their current promotional unveiling. The project was intense with a timeline of only three weeks for creative, production and delivery to the 150+ dealerships across the states. It entailed creating showroom graphics for the three month long promotional, sales creative that would outlive the promo itself and an out of the box direct mail to get potentials excited to take the trip down to their local dealership. The A3 Design team pulled it off to impress.
 
With creative from A3 Design in their back pocket, the US headquarters in Cupertino, California are already getting nods of a job well done from their corporate headquarters in Bologna, Italy. "It just reminds them of the quality their market has come to expect no matter what their age; not just in product but in brand design as well,” says Alan. "It is such a honor to know that an in-house creative outfit with such a reputation has been inspired by our team and relies on us to keep up their standards. If that's not pressure... I don't know what is!"
 
The A3 Design and Ducati Motorsports relationship is still new, but there is a lifetime of possibilities ahead. We are currently creating the entire brand package for the Ducati Master Technician program. Both the certification and the brand are a badge of honor within the industry. We have also been tapped to head up an international promotional campaign geared towards existing Ducati owners.
 
While supplemental communications are still kept in house at Ducati, we have made our mark in very little time and are already committed to taking charge of Ducati's most visible and influential communications. One of the most pleasurable things in our line of business is when we make a difference in the way that the client sees themselves. We get instant gratification when the client relates to the communication we provide and is visibly proud to be associated.
