But now is the time to get back into the Spring of things. The popping flowers, green grass and budding trees makes us take a good look at the world around us with new eyes and a fresh take. We are all finally coming out of hiding and thinking about what to do next; how to take the next step into the stimulating world around us and what that next step should be. If there is any advice I could give to businesses, small and large alike, it is... start at the beginning; with your brand. Over past few years, I am sure your brand has been given just as little attention as your exercise and diet through the winter. You have thrown it around and used it in ways it was not meant to be used.
Now that you may be thinking about starting to market your business again... How does your brand look? Does your logo still speak to the market you need it to? Has your market or product changed over these years that no longer makes your current visual communications speak? Were your visual communications designed to speak to a different market of a different time? These are the questions you should be asking yourself before you start marketing your brand in the reviving business environment.
Above is an example of the many amateur solutions we have seen and rehabbed successfully. Careful attention needs to be paid to looking as professional as you are. Your brand needs the help of experts to best advise on what changes are needed to best communicate to your target.
This organization went from a Word® Template logo bought off of a "format your own logo" site to a unique and international lettermark. The result is the visual credibility to match the organizational credibility. The IBC now has a strong national presence and will be hosting the 2010 Upstate NY Trade Conference.
