Being man's best friend to creatives may make me more aware of such issues, but I know that I am not the only dog affected and not the only one sick of... the FAKE DOORBELL! Why is it necessary for you creatives and advertisers to work a doorbell sound into every commercial, sitcom and home shot? It drives me nuts. It causes me and my brother to jump up from a deep slumber and defend to the death our home... for no reason! I have resorted to barking in place to ward off any predators without having to get up, but my parents don't appreciate that too much. How can we not react! We must bark at the doorbell sound. And we don't even have a doorbell! Here is my plea: Stop using the doorbell sound. Use any other sound. Humans are smart, they will get it. Use a horn for all they care. I bet they would appreciate it as well.
