Coop's Loop

With the recent move north, we found ourselves smack in the core of apple country. The A3 Studio and our home are surrounded on all sides by different types of orchards that bring beautiful sights and smells year round. But this is about our mailbox.

An event as special as a 50th birthday for the firefighter close to us all deserves extra TLC. With the majority of the attendees being part of the firefighting profession in some way, we used lingo and visuals familiar to the culture making the invite all the more special.

Aside from Jan Conradi being our professor and cherished mentor over the years, she is a well accomplished designer and typographer, educator and now author. We know only too well the hard work, time and heart that she puts into her passion for design and are so very proud to announce and promote Jan's new book, Unimark International: The Design of Business and the Business of Design. It seems that a designer's brain never stops working. That we are constantly seeing design faux pauxs and editing them in our heads. This does not change as we try to turn it off and turn on the tube. I have a feeling that this may be the topic of many posts.
