Our morning routine lately has consisted of having the morning show on CNN playing in the background as we get ready for the day. The lack of importance of the news that they are reporting on baffles me.

Who do you call when you need to shoot, design and print a 200 page catalogue in 8 weeks? A3 Design of course! We were thrilled to be pulled in on this project from the start. With initial meetings consisting of the heavy lifting in planning, organization and project management, we had set up a solid plan for execution.

Lettering & Type is a smart-but-not-dense guide to creating and bending letters to one’s will. While other type design books often get hung up on the technical and technological issues of type design and lettering, Lettering & Type features the context and creativity that shape letters and make them interesting. The book was written, assembled and designed by the dynamic duo at Post Typography and the forward was written by Ellen Luptin. A3 Design is honored to be included in the book.
